2023 Toyota Tundra Limited Performance Features

Performance Features

The 2023 Toyota Tundra Limited and Platinum models take 389 net horsepower from a 3.4-liter engine block. Built on the all-new i-FORCE architecture, this V-6 engine develops 479 pound-feet of torque. Twin turbochargers and an electric-type wastegate are integrated into the signature powerhouse. Gasoline enters the combustion chambers via port injection and the D-4ST system. A conventional 12-V starter supplements the six-cylinder engine on these large Toyota trucks. Both models run on a 10-speed automatic transmission, precisely governed by electronic modules. Climbing or descending won't be an issue, thanks to the Shift Logic technology in the gearbox. Both full-size pickup trucks are equipped with a 4x4 drive system for excellent handling. Featuring the 4WDemand design, the drivetrain is primarily controlled by a transfer case. With intervention from the Automatic Limited-Slip Differential, the rear wheels rotate at desired rates on any surface. You can add an electronically controlled lock for the Toyota Tundra Limited's rear differential. Both trims ride on a double-wishbone front suspension system with coil-type springs. Designed by Bilstein, heavy-duty shocks are optional on this premium Toyota truck. Calibrated for on-road deployment, the Adaptive Variable Suspension System is optional on the Platinum edition. Both models boast the Rear Height Control technology with load-leveling capabilities. Depending on the mechanical layout and body type, each trim tows approximately 11,000 net pounds.

Toyota Tundra Platinum Utility Features

Reinforced with aluminum components, a composite-style bed is standard on the 2023 Toyota Tundra. You'll find many advanced utilities on the bed, such as the unique Deck Rail System for hauling various items. Mounted on the bed, a 120-V/400-W power inverter is optional on the Limited and standard on the Platinum. By bumping into a dedicated switch, you can easily open the tailgate. If you want extra comfort and luxury, get this high-end model's optional power running boards and BedStep. Additionally, both vehicles have powerful LED-powered fog lamps that face the road at low angles.

Toyota Tundra Platinum Technology Features

Technology Features

Toyota added a 14-inch multimedia system to the 2023 Toyota Tundra Limited and Platinum. Such a high-end infotainment console comes with the most recent versions of the Connected Services, like the Remote Connect. A nine-speaker audio system by JBL is paired with the Limited's standard infotainment center. You'll get three additional speakers on the Platinum's multimedia center. Both Toyota pickup trucks have wireless connections for mobile devices via Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. You'll get tremendous assistance behind the wheel from the updated Blind Spot Monitor, which now has the Trailer Merge Warning technology. Some other notable driver-assistance features on these full-size trucks include the Road Sign Assist and Lane Departure Alert. These rugged trucks also have eight airbags and active headrests.
