2023 Toyota Tundra

Toyota introduces the 3.4-liter i-FORCE engine to the world for the first time. By default, this V-6 powertrain earns 389 horsepower per SAE guidelines for the Toyota Tundra. Fitted with a pair of turbochargers, this six-cylinder powerhouse twists 406 pound-feet of torque. When installed on select trims, this twin-turbo engine increases the output by 41 hp and 73 lb-ft. Also making a debut, the 3.4-L i-FORCE MAX powertrain spits out 437. Some of the power comes from a 36-kW electric motor, which converts 184 lb-ft of instant torque. Rated at 1.87 kWh and 288 V, the hybrid battery stores electrical power through nickel-metal hydride chemistry. Regardless of the powertrain, this full-size Toyota truck has an automatic transmission that creates ten gear speeds. You won't have to hunt for gears because of the Sequential Shift Logic. Similarly, the Tow-Haul Mode automatically sets the ideal gear ratios when pulling a trailer. This all-new Toyota truck tows 12,000 gross pounds per SAE J2807 regulations. Using air springs, the all-new Load-leveling Rear Height Control suspension system comes in handy for towing and hauling. You'll find several off-road technologies on the 2023 Tundra, such as the five-mode Crawl Control and four-mode Multi-Terrain Select. Six additional driving options are available for this tough Toyota truck, such as the Custom and Sport S+.

The 2023 Toyota Tundra has a bed that measures up to 20.9 inches deep and 48.7 inches between wheel wells. You can choose an 8.1-foot bed for hauling certain items. Most trims are available with a bed that measures 5.5 or 6.5 feet long. Loading cargo has never been simpler, thanks to a class-exclusive opening mechanism for the tailgate. You just need to bump into the taillamps on the driver's side to instantly unlock the gate. If you need to keep certain items dry during a trip, simply store them inside the storage compartment under the second-row seats. Additionally, this full-size Toyota model has a bed-mounted power socket that generates 120 V and 400 peaks W.

Occupying 14 inches on the dashboard, the 2023 Toyota Tundra's all-new infotainment system has a user-friendly design. You can turn on the Panoramic View Monitor when towing or pulling out of a parking lot. Likewise, you should turn on the Multi-Terrain Monitor when exploring off-road trails. Some warnings and other performance settings show up on the 12.3-inch instrument display. Don't forget to sign up for Toyota Connected Services, like the Wi-Fi Connect bundle with AT&T delivery. This light-duty truck will feature several other all-new driver-assistance features, including the Trailer Merge Warning. Such a warning system is synced with the Blind Spot Monitor and integrated trailer brake controller.
