Performance Features
Adopting the i-FORCE mechanical technology, a 3.4-L engine is standard on the 2025 Toyota Tundra SR and SR5. Twin turbochargers regulate combustion in this V-6 engine. When operating at 5,200 RPM, the six-cylinder powerhouse produces 358 horsepower. This patented powerhouse develops 406 pound-feet of torque at 2,000 RPM. The SR5 model extracts up to 389 net hp from the twin-turbo engine. This upgraded trim also harnesses 479 lb-ft of torque from the V-6 powertrain. Both Toyota pickup trucks have the Stop and Start Engine System for optimal efficiency. A 10-speed automatic transmission links the i-FORCE engine with a rear-wheel drive system. Each trim is compatible with a 4WD system for better all-surface traction. You could apply the Eco, Normal, and Sport modes for the SR5 edition. The Tow/Haul Mode and the Integrated Trailer Brake Controller optimize the truck's towing capabilities. You could even add an optional locking differential to the vehicle's rear axle. Having a sport-calibrated configuration, Bilstein shock absorbers are available on the SR5. Additionally, you'll experience a more enjoyable drive with the Load-leveling Rear Height Control Air Suspension.
Enhanced Utility Features
The 2025 Toyota Tundra SR includes front doors with touch sensors for easy locking and handling. Heated side mirrors are standard on this entry-level pickup truck. You could add towing mirrors with anti-glare treatments to the Tundra SR5 model. These upgraded mirrors include power-folding and power-extending mechanisms. Each vehicle has a standard 6.5-foot bed for all-around utility. You could get an 8.1-foot bed for even better versatility. A 5.5-foot bed is available in both editions. Reinforced with aluminum, a composite bed is installed on these light-duty Toyota trucks. You'll get even better utility from the SR5's optional 120-V power outlet. Mounted on the bed, this AC socket has a peak rating of 400 W. Additionally, this versatile model offers the Knee Lift Assist for the tailgate.
Technology Features
An 8-inch multimedia system is standard on the 2025 Toyota Tundra SR and SR5. You'll receive a complimentary 12-month Remote Connect trial, managed through a mobile application. Both trims are compatible with Drive Connect, which requires a paid subscription and 4G data. Speaking of mobile data, both trucks come with a one-month trial to Wi-Fi Connect. Thanks to corporate generosity, you could use the free Service Connect and Safety Connect apps for 10 years. The Tundra SR5 offers several other technological treasures, like the Multi-Terrain Monitor and Trailer Backup Guide. This well-appointed model is available with premium safety technologies, including the Blind Spot Monitor and Parking Assist. Each vehicle includes several standard crash-avoidance systems from the Toyota Safety Sense 2.5 bundle.
