Performance Features
Built on the renowned Dynamic Force platform, a 2.5-liter engine propels the 2025 Toyota Crown. This patented engine utilizes the D-4S Dual Injection system. Natural aspiration regulates the combustion cycles in the four-cylinder engine. Rated at 184 horsepower and 163 pound-feet, the I-4 engine has the traditional DOHC valvetrain. The 2025 Toyota Camry also comes standard with this compact 2.5-L engine. However, the D-4S fuel injection isn't integrated into the powertrain. This midsize Toyota sedan gets additional support from a 134-hp front motor and a 40-hp rear motor. The Camry's hybrid powertrain generates a total of 232 hp. Similarly, the 2025 Crown has an 88-kW front motor and a 40-hp rear motor. This premium model taps into 236 hp from the standard hybrid powerplant. Delivering up to 340 hp, the Hybrid MAX powerhouse propels the Crown Platinum. Nevertheless, a 230.4-V battery pack is standard on all Crown trims. Rated at slightly more than 251 V, a hybrid battery is installed on all Camry models. Both Toyota sedans have the ECVT system by default. Equipped with the six-speed Direct Shift gearbox, the Crown Platinum takes performance to a higher level. Additionally, this sporty model rides on the Adaptive Variable Suspension.
Design Features
The eye-popping Supersonic Red color is available for the 2025 Crown and 2025 Camry. Both Toyota sedans offer a Heavy Metal finish for a more rigid look. Some of the Crown's unique paint options include Bronze Age and Storm Cloud. Some of the Camry's exclusive finishes include Ocean Gem and Reservoir Blue. This midsize sedan is available in up to four dual-tone color schemes. Three bi-tone designs are available for the Crown. Measuring 19 inches, multi-spoke wheels are standard on the Crown. The optional 21-inch wheels come with a 10-spoke design. The Camry offers 18-inch and 19-inch wheels with modern styling. A spoiler and air curtains provide sporty enhancements to the car's exterior.
Tehcnology Features
The 2025 Toyota Crown includes a standard 12.3-inch multimedia system with wireless phone integrations via Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and Bluetooth. An 8-inch infotainment system is standard on the 2025 Toyota Camry. However, select trims boast a 12.3-inch infotainment center with enhanced digital features. Both Toyota sedans have the Remote Connect, Drive Connect, and Wi-Fi Connect technologies. These premium models also have a backup camera with colored visual lines for safer handling. You could use the Panoramic View Monitor to scan the surroundings for potential obstructions. With additional help from the Advanced Park technology, you could park the Crown Platinum with extra confidence. This deluxe model flaunts an 11-speaker audio system with masterful engineering from JBL. A nine-speaker sound system from the same company is optional for the 2025 Camry.
