Toyota unveils an improved hybrid powertrain for the 2025 Camry. Displacing 2.5 L, an internal combustion engine takes a primary role under the hood. This four-cylinder engine operates on the Variable Valve Timing-intelligence mechanics. Similarly, the VVT-iE technology exclusively calibrates the electric motor. A front-wheel drive (FWD) system is synchronized with the hybrid engine, which has a net rating of 225 horsepower. A 232-hp rating is achieved with the Electronic On-Demand AWD system. Both drivetrains are synchronized with the Electronically controlled Continuously Variable Transmission. You'll find the iconic Drive Mode Select technology inside the cockpit. The EV Mode extracts maximum power from the lithium-ion battery pack. Similarly, the Sport Mode invokes maximum output from the four-cylinder engine. The Eco Mode calibrates the gas engine and Li-ion battery for optimal efficiency. The Normal Mode mainly extracts power from combustion. Both 2025 Camry trims ride on a front suspension system with a stabilizer bar and independent MacPherson struts. The XSE has shock absorbers and springs with sport-tuned adjustments. Both midsize sedans have 12-inch front disc brakes and an electronic parking brake.
Exterior Features
The 2025 Camry XLE has a redesigned front grille with Dark Metallic accents on a horizontal bar. A sport mesh design distinguishes the front grille on the 2025 Camry XSE model. Both Toyota sedans have heated side mirrors with blinking indicators for turn signals. These midsize cars come standard with color-keyed outside door handles with touch sensors. Having a two-tone design, 18-inch alloy wheels are installed on the XLE. A Smoked Gray motif is applied to the XSE's 19-inch alloy wheels. This Camry trim flaunts a single exhaust outlet with two tips for sporty flair. Of course, the car's lower rear diffuser has some athletic appeal. Additionally, the XSE version has black window trimming and black rear badges.
Technology Features
A 12.3-inch diagonal touch screen draws your attention inside the 2025 Camry's cockpit. This premium multimedia hub has wireless compatibility with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Toyota provides a complimentary one-year trial to the Remote Connect application. Such an advanced app controls the Digital Key, which offers effortless entry into the cabin. Toyota also adds a free 12-month subscription to Drive Connect, which has plenty of travel-related features. You won't have to pay for the Wi-Fi Connect service for a month. A nine-speaker sound system with JBL engineering is optional on the 2025 Camry. A 12.3-inch instrument cluster is standard on this all-new Toyota sedan. Additionally, the optional 10-inch head-up display retrieves data from the Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 package and Hybrid System Indicator.
