Performance Features
The 2025 Toyota Camry is powered by an updated hybrid powertrain, which produces up to 232 horsepower. Built on the Dynamic Force technology, a 2.5-liter engine generates a significant portion of the total power. This internal combustion engine burns regular-quality gasoline at a high compression ratio. You'll find this four-cylinder engine under the hood of the 2024 Camry. However, the model's hybrid system has a peak output of 208 net hp. Both midsize sedans use an all-wheel drive system driven by two electric motors. These hybrid Toyota cars use a lithium-ion battery. The 2025 Camry's Li-ion battery has an estimated rating of 252 V. The 2024 model's Li-ion battery is rated at up to 259 V. This edition has an eight-speed automatic gearbox, which works well with the 2.5-L gas engine. Tuned for sporty handling, the Dynamic Torque Control AWD is synced with this transmission. Otherwise, an electronically controlled CVT propels the 2024 and 2025 hybrid models. The 2024 Camry TRD is available with massive front rotors that measure nearly 13 inches in diameter. Additionally, this athletic model boasts the Active Cornering Assist for superior handling.
Technology Features
You'll notice a handful of evolutions in the 2025 Camry's technology department. This all-new sedan showcases a 12.3-inch touchscreen on the center stack. Toyota offered a 9-inch infotainment system on the 2024 Camry. Both trims have several iconic Toyota Connected Services, like the Wi-Fi Connect. The Drive Connect is now installed on the 2025 edition, delivering superior guidance. This proprietary digital technology wasn't available on any of the 2024 versions. Both Camry models offer a limited trial to SiriusXM Satellite Radio. With nine speakers, you can listen to hundreds of channels on the custom JBL sound system. A 12.3-inch instrument display also makes a debut inside the 2025 Camry's redesigned cockpit.
Safety Features
Toyota unveils the trademark TSS 3.0 technologies on the 2025 Camry. You'll get similar active safety features on the 2024 Camry's TSS 2.5+ suite. For example, both sedans have the Lane Tracing Assist and Lane Departure Alert. The Blind Spot Monitor is now standard on the 2025 version. This innovative safety technology was optional on select 2024 trims. Interestingly, ten airbags are installed on the 2024 model. Toyota eliminated two airbags from the 2025 edition. Nevertheless, this revamped model will have other all-new safety technologies, like the Rear Cross-Traffic Braking and Driver Monitor Sensor. Additionally, the Panoramic View Monitor offers enhanced views and other cues compared to the previous year.
