Performance
The 2024 Toyota Sequoia is powered by a hybrid powertrain that comes from the first-generation i-FORCE MAX series. Having an unconventional displacement of 3.445 liters, this electrified powerhouse produces 437 horsepower. Incorporating twin turbochargers, the six-cylinder powertrain releases a maximum of 583 pound-feet of torque. This full-size Toyota SUV boasts a segment-leading towing specification of slightly more than 9,500 pounds per SAE J2807 criteria. You can only achieve such a trailering capability by applying the Tow-Haul Mode. Several other driving settings control the 10-speed automatic transmission system, such as the Sport S+ and Comfort. This versatile gearbox ultimately unites the hybrid powertrain with the 4WDemand system. Operating on a part-time basis, the signature driveline is regulated by a transfer case with low and high modes. When necessary, a limited-slip differential automatically locks and releases the rear axle. This three-row Toyota SUV also has the Multi-Terrain Select for driving on off-road trails. In fact, you can navigate terrains with great composure thanks to the Crawl Control. Likewise, the Downhill Assist Control ensures a safe return home from the top of a mountain. Additionally, this tough Toyota model offers Bilstein shock absorbers and skid plates for surviving grueling conditions.
Technology
Occupying 14 inches inside the 2024 Toyota Sequoia's cockpit, the all-new infotainment system is packed with applications for travel, entertainment, and other purposes. This huge multimedia console is already synced with several Toyota Connected Services. Most services require subscriptions, like Remote Connect and Wi-Fi Connect. This full-size Toyota SUV even has a 90-day trial to SiriusXM Platinum, which is an advanced entertainment package with more than 400 music channels. Designed by JBL, 14 speakers play songs in high quality during trips. This robust Toyota SUV also has wireless syncing for Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. Encouraging you to focus on the road, a 10-inch head-up display provides helpful visual cues. Additionally, the 12.3-inch instrument cluster includes digital meters for easy viewing.
Interior
Toyota outfits the 2024 Sequoia with leather, semi-aniline leather, or SofTex materials. This full-size SUV has heated and ventilated seats for the driver and another companion. Folding and tumbling mechanisms are optional for the captain's chairs, which provide superb utility for two people in the second row. Adjustable headrests are available for the third-row seats inside this large Toyota model. Every trim already boasts a three-zone automatic climate control system, which can be controlled by panels in the first two rows.
