2016 Toyota Camry Trim Comparison near Glen Carbon, IL

Every Trim is a Winner

You’ve picked your model. You want a 2016 Toyota Camry. It’s reliable, has great fuel economy, and has a stylish exterior you’d be proud to drive around town. But which trim? Well, Nebold Toyota has your back when it comes to picking a trim level with our nifty 2016 Toyota Camry trim comparison near Glen Carbon, IL. We’ll break down each trim for you and you just decide which has the features you want!

Toyota Camry LE

We hate referring to the LE trim as “base”. It comes off as misleading. When you come standard with projector-beam halogen headlights, EntuneTM Audio with a 6.1-inch touchscreen, and a backup camera1, you’re hardly basic. This sedan provides an 8-way power-adjustable driver seat so you can find the perfect seating position and two 12V auxiliary power outlets so your tech is always charged. Our advanced voice recognition2 works en tandem with the Bluetooth® wireless technology3, allowing you to make phone calls and change songs without lifting a single finger from the tilt/telescopic steering wheel.

Toyota Camry XLE

Options abound as we continue on with the 2016 Toyota Camry trim comparison near Glen Carbon, IL. The XLE trim is available with either a 4-cylinder or a V6 engine. The 4-cylinder gets 25/35/28 MPG city/hwy/combined4, so drive down to the Edison’s Entertainment Complex as often as you’d like. The upgraded EntuneTM Audio Plus with Connected Navigation App5 comes with a 7-inch screen for added responsiveness.

If you’re looking for something with a little bit more get-up-and-go power, the 2016 Camry with the XLE V6 trim is an excellent choice. It provides 268 horsepower and still keeps its frugal fuel consumption, clocking in at 21/31/25 MPG city/hwy/combined4. It comes with several bonus features that you may find enticing, as well, including a noise-reducing front windshield so every note from your EntuneTM Premium Audio System and each turn-by-turn direction from the Integrated Navigation5 comes through loud and clear. And the Qi-compatible wireless smartphone chargingstation means you can leave all of those tangling cords at home – where they belong.

Toyota Camry SE and Special Edition

If “sporty” is on your must-have list, take a look at the Camry SE. With its sport mesh front grille, smoke chrome upper grille, and integrated front and rear underbody spoilers, it sings sportiness. Sink into the sport fabric SofTex®-trimmed front seats and wrap your hands around the leather-trimmed wheel, because we’re going for a ride.

The Special Edition took inspiration from the SE when it comes to interior styling, but it read consumer’s minds about the features we’d like to see paired together. It couples the Smart Key System7 with push-button start, Qi-compatible wireless smartphone charging6, and the EntuneTM Audio Plus with Connected Navigation5. These two trims are great because they combine the most popular features on the Camry into one, and eschew all of the others to offer a great price.

Toyota Camry XSE

Again, this trim is available with a 4-cylinder engine or a V6 engine. Standard on the XSE 4-cylinder are LED Daytime Running Lights and EntuneTM Audio Plus with Connected Navigation App5, and it has nearly every option and package available to be added on.

The XSE V6 comes with much more standard, such as the acoustic noise-reducing windshield and a HomeLink®8 universal transceiver. It’s primary add-ons are the JBL® Audio system and a Technology Package, for some added safety!

The Camry comes in dozens of configurations with an endless list of features. We’ve just touched on several during the 2016 Toyota Camry trim comparison in Glen Carbon, IL, but we’re happy to take you on however many test drives you need at Newbold Toyota to pick the right one for you!
